I can take another day of this torture!
On Tuesday, Dani and Jac were back in the set of Crux Extrema II to put the gorgeous actress to more intense suffering at the Rack/Cross torture. When they were done, Dani went to take a shower and Jac was in the middle of packing the gear when a wassap call came in from France, it was Camille, who wanted to know what’s going on in the country.
Jac had a detailed conversation about what’s going on, while walking around, handling the gear with one hand, holding his cell phone in the other. It was a fairly long conversation, because Dani came out of the bathroom, all dressed up and ready for tea time. Then something wonderful happened, Dani met Camille. They hadn’t met, ever, and there they were, in different parts of the world, saying hello to each other. Dani feeling starstruck, while Camille was fixing her hair, to give a good impression. Dani told Camille how much she loves her and her amazing work. Camille was very pleased.
After Jac and Dani had tea. It is customary for Jac to have afternoon tea, a family tradition that dates back centuries, Dani went on to host her TV show. A show that talks about current events but it is mostly dedicated to the world of music, not any music, Rock! Yeah, she rocks.
Once alone, Jac decided to just relax, watch the news, which nowadays are not relaxing, and as he switched channels, he came across Dani hosting her show. He couldn’t resist, he took a picture.
They were to continue on Wednesday, with additional shots for the same scene they were working during this week before going into the last and very dramatic sequence of the film, but Dani called in sick. She had the beginnings of a flu and Jac advised she should take it easy, which she did. A short delay in the completion of this film.
When Jac wrapped for the day on Tuesday, and before letting Dani off the rack, he wanted to test something, Dani obliged. Jac has a new torture in mind for the end of the film, one that will require a whole lot more stressful situations for his enthusiastic and long suffering actress. Jac asked Dani how she felt. I can take many days of this torture she responded.
Wow! We heard about what happened in Bolivia on the BBC News, at least briefly – it seems to have inspired Jac and Dani to even greater heights of supreme torture!

There are conflicting reports out in the world about what happened. Was it a Coup, was it a popular revolt? People from all over the world are calling Jac to get his take on this issue, to the point that he might be forced to work on an in-depth documentary. But while he considers that possibility, his mind goes away from the direct threats of destruction to continue his task of torturing Dani until my entire body hurts like hell!
There will be yet one more week of production before Crux Extrema II is finally wrapped, which is fine. I think that Crux Extrema III will be faster, it will concentrate on The Cross. I’m looking forward to shoot that one, and the rest! Dani said to Jac over tea.
