Auténtico Suplicio! (Absolute Torture!)

After a day of rest, Dani returned to the set of Crux Extrema II for more extreme torture. ‘Will I be on my back this time?. She asked Jac ‘because when I was facing down, my body resting on my ribs and hips, it was too painful‘. Jac comforted her saying that she would be on her back this time.

They began to work on the the Cross/Rack and after some truly painful moments that Dani took with great courage, she could no longer hold what she was feeling. ‘Esto es un auténtico suplicio! (This is absolute torture!) she screamed in pain.

After saying that she added ‘go on, I can take it for a bit longer‘. Dani’s torture continued until Jac felt that she should take a well deserved rest. ‘You’re my hero! he said to the suffering and gorgeous woman. Dani smiled in the middle of her pain. The worst is yet to come and she knows it.

When Dani was done for the day, Jac began processing the new footage and shortly after he decided to cut Crux Extrema I. But just before he started working on the film, Jac decided to watch a bit of the news. Not far from his window there is a battle ground where pro democracy crowds are fighting the police and government supporters who have Dynamite as their weapon of choice. As Jac went over the local channels he stopped by one and lo and behold, Dani was there, in all her glory, happily smiling, introducing the themes of the day at the TV program where she’s a host. Jac thought for a minute, ‘that pretty girl on the TV screen was under torture in my ‘dungeon’ not too long ago and there she is, hosting a TV show with a big smile. Such is the life of committed artists.

Crux Extrema I is down to 2 hrs 16 min of screen time, 43 min of which are already in First Cut. If all goes well, Jac plans to have the film all cut and ready for sound mix and color correction by the end of next week. That is also the estimate time when the production of Crux Extrema II will be done.

Either Amy and/or Jac are in charge of setting up the stores and all that jazz; however they have been tremendously busy this past week. Amy is engaged in the editing of Rucker her academic responsibilities, which take a lot of her time, and a new script she’s working on. Not to mention a lot of administrative tasks she still handles. Neither of them has gone to the website to change the pages, that means that the offer that was no longer going to be available still is! But for a brief time.
