The High Road Taken

Jac is part of the news these days. A new outbreak of a deadly virus has made him a kind of expert because of the work he did with two documentaries on the subject, one for NatGeo. He’s appearing on TV talk shows and showing the films in different mediums, including movie houses. But not only that, the need for more information about this life threatening event, has made it mandatory for him to make a new documentary concerning the Arena-viruses from the Old and the New World, something he has begun to do already.

But this new development did not prevent him from completing his new film collaboration with Dani, Crux Extrema I – The Passion PlayRoom. It happened last night when they got involved in shooting the very hot opening and closing scenes of this new cinematic adventure. Crux Extrema I is now entering the post production stage. I venture to say that it might be ready for release at the end of next month.

Jac had a long meeting with Simonne, the star of Maleficarum Monxa Mala, to discuss future projects. Although her time is limited, she is anxious to begin shooting new films with him, one of which is based on De Sade’s Eugenie De Preval. Another film discussed is a very intimate film that involves the intensely harrowing and argument, if it can be call that, between a defiant young woman and her torturer, while she suffers increasingly painful torments.

A really nice comment about Mila À La Croix came our way, as part of a larger review of Maleficarum Monxa Mala:

I enjoy Mila in her newest film. She is visually stunning and captivating. Her image moves the film. Much of that credit also goes to the cameraman and the director, of course.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala continues to be our number one film in sales, Mila À La Croix is number two. I expect that the new film will probably top both for a while when it comes out.
