Things are moving and progressing in a way that we were not expecting. Our work is taking a detour that involves more documentaries, TV interviews and public appearances. While that happens, our current film, Maleficarum Monxa Mala, is still generating some comments elsewhere, more friendly, I should add, and, of course, it remains as our number one seller.

Simonne has such expressive eyes and lips too, that critic is right – she says so much even before she speaks!

Simonne is truly a discovery for Jac, who would love to work with her a lot more and he’s planning to do so. If I’m not mistaken he’ll have a meeting with her next week, in between TV interviews, shooting the new film with Dani, organizing the theatrical screening of the documentary he showed in Switzerland in March of this year and working on a new documentary. The plan is to work with Simonne in a couple of solo projects, as preparation for two feature films where she will take the lead. More or that later.

how I envy Dani! I love the Wheel, it’s such a perfect invention for torturing us girls on, we can hardly help looking sexy stretched out on it, whether on the rim or across the hub – and Dani’s certainly sexy!l.

The new film with Dani, Crux Extrema I – The Passion PlayRoom, is almost done. There are two more scenes to complete it and it will go into post production. It’s a film that follows the line of FantomAgent X and others, where the story takes place in contemporary times. There’s a cast and crew of TWO people, Dani and Jac and no one else, they can do whatever they want during a few hours as long as they finish by the time Dani has to get ready to go to her TV Show where she’s the host.

Thanks for your post, Margot, and for the very promising line-up of work underway with Jac and his colleagues. I am among those who will find too much gore in the latest offering, but having donated a bit to the production I will download and view it on its own terms. Given the more extreme artwork on this site, it is possible Jac is offering the cinematic equivalent. Many may not like it, but nothing is universally popular, even within this quite distinctive group. In my view, your company is a daring and cherished part of the community. (…) …Cheers!l.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala is unapologetically bloody, yes, and the new production is also pretty bloody, and the next one too, will have plenty of (fake) blood … and the next. It is ironic in some way because the documentary that Jac made and now is making the rounds on television is about the famous Hemorrhagic Fever epidemic in Bolivia. The famous virus is back in the news because apparently new cases have come up recently and panic has ensued. His work in two documentaries, one for NatGeo, has made Jac an expert on the bloody subject so there’s a demand for the documentary. More news later.
