Isabel Rules!

ONE

Isabel continues to rule! Our newest release retains the top position, closely followed by JUSTINE. It hasn’t been long since we sent The Passion of Isabel to the world and in that short time the film conquered hearts at a fast rate and it continues to do so. Some people stated their reasons NOT to get the film, but those who DO GET IT, and who are growing in number, seem to be enjoying the new film and have nice comments:

Just purchased ‘the Passion of Isabel’….And I bloody love it !!☺☺ Full credit goes to the gorgeous Bea for allowing herself to be abused so much !! A beautiful woman indeed !!❤❤ Not giving anything away except. …GET IT !! Thanks Margot for posting…. & well done to all involved. ☺☺

Anyone who saw the film can agree that Bea does a tremendous job as Isabel. What she went through for those many weeks of production work, day after day of torture, hour after hour of putting herself tOo painful stress, was not only courageous and daring, but it was also passionate. She gave it all for this one film and if I’m not mistaken, that’s all she’ll ever give for something like this. She had some meetings with Jac where future projects were discussed and she will be part of the team, always, but she prefers not to act for a while. Her ambition is to become a DP. She’s also fascinated with sound mix. She will take some not very important roles in the next few productions, but, nothing like she did in The Passion of Isabel.

TWO

I thoroughly enjoyed the The Passion of Isabel. It’s old school Red Feline. While I enjoy the full production pieces, I prefer the films like RF on the Cross, Romana crucifixa est, the Seven Days series, …, ect. They are more intense, from my perspective. BTW, I’m really looking forward to the completion of the Seven Days on the Cross series. I’d given up on seeing Part V.

The Red Feline style production of The Passion of Isabel is very difficult to do, it took its toll on the two participants and it’s very unlikely that Jac will want to do it again. It looks like we’re all taking a different direction now. Amy has totally gone into different type of movies, with her new short and the feature she’s preparing, Jac is considering Maleficarum II but it’s getting a bit difficult to get a good daring cast. He thinks it would be easier to make a film like that somewhere else but at a greater cost and he’s not willing to leave to unknown parts. He’s pretty comfortable where he is. I personally think that as successful as JUSTINE and The Passion of Isabel are, they are limited and if we, as a company, want to grow, we have to expand our reach and explore new things, like Amy is doing now.

THREE (Amy directing her new film, a comedy)

There’s something very unusual and weird that I have to share with our fans. Jac received an email from the selection committee for the Oscars here, announcing him that his film, JUSTINE made the short list to represent Bolivia at the Oscars! In all these years of producing films he never received a letter like that. I’m not sure Jac will accept to be included in the final selection, I believe he’ll decline in a very polite way. But it’s very nice to be asked, don’t you think?
