The Passion of Isabel Rules!

The Passion of Isabel is taking the world by storm and it’s only at our Red Feline Store. It’s been a week since it’s release and it’s about to push JUSTINE, our big best seller, out of the first place. Will Isabel take that coveted spot before the end of August? If she does, will she keep it for as long as JUSTINE did so far? Only time will tell. The Passion of Isabel doesn’t have the benefit of the wider reaching market afforded by Amazon.com and mainstream social media, with all the reviews, FB comments and so on, it only has our Red Feline Fan Base as the focus of our marketing efforts, limited to great sites like this one … that’s it. And we haven’t really done much marketing, yet! It’s selling strong with only our first announcement to promote it! And so far, NO reviews! Considering those limitations, our new release is doing wonderfully well and we have to thank you all for that.

Our Red Feline Fan Base IS a sizeable group! We’re learning that now. In the last few years, since the release of our more mainstream big production budget films like Maleficarum, we weren’t sure where the strength of our movies was. Our sales in amazon.com were big enough to keep films like Maleficarum and JUSTINE on the top, even Le Marquis de la Croix is in Amazon and has reviews in mainstream media, including awards. The Passion of Isabel is limited to our Red Feline Fan Base, I insist, and, to our delight, it’s doing very well. What does this mean for our future productions? It is still too early to know. Bea hasn’t yet received the news, she’s very busy with her university studies now, and as Carmen before her, she has decided to immerse herself in film studies. Jac will be meeting with her next week to give her her percentages, which are pretty good, and discuss future possibilities.

In the other hand, Danielle has joined the company as a regular member of our team, she is studying marketing and publicity at her university, she is very fluent in English, and she has joined the team organising the horror film festival we’re working on. She’s also working with Jac on the pre production of two feature films and she’s is also aware of the results of the release of The Passion of Isabel. She’s very excited to see that. The past week was her first week in a full time basis with Jac. Next week they will be working out difficult scenes in his new script, a film with some GIMP in it. But she’s willing to be part of Maleficarum II. So, the inquisition film is back on the front of the projects for the next cycle. One of the discussions with Bea will be her potential leading role in The Cage and Maleficarum II. Danielle already signed in for The Cage. Meanwhile, Amy is very busy producing a film in the US, she’ll start shooting her new movie in about tend days.

That’s it for now!
