JUSTINE reigns supreme. We are getting some very intense feedback in FB messages, comments, and so on, very much like this one by Tony at FB

Thank you for resolving the technical issues. The three whipping scenes are fierce!! Enjoyed Amy performing the storytelling of plot. Thought there were be more nudity as the Red Feline days, but with two new actresses, I understand. Are there any upcoming productions planned?

We feel great because JUSTINE is reaching out, going places, winning an audience, and making Jac wonder what’s next. No one at Pachamama Films is thinking about what’s next, really. There are plans, of course, at least 3 scripts are on their way to pre production, but not now, maybe in a couple of weeks. We’re immersed in the release of JUSTINE and getting Pygmalion ready as well. Both films have festivals ahead.

So this evening, immediately after my post below on the upside-down suspension scene I’d found, I stat down and started watching Justine. I’ve only watched the first scene so far. It’s a long and brutal public flogging scene starring (who else?) Amy. It is clearly modeled, to some extent, on the similar scene in Dead But Dreaming. Only this one may been even more powerful. What really makes this scene is Amy’s reactions. Her screams, the look on her face, and most of all – the way she throws her head back crying out to the heavens above – is just fantastic. Not to mention incredibly hot. Guys, this is an absolutely awesome performance! Going back to the movie now…

This comment is, to me, our first short review of JUSTINE. The first impression of the first scene of the movie. We’re curious to know where our reviewer will go as he watches the film. When Jac showed the script to Amy and she read the opening sequence in the story, she knew the weight of the film was on her bare shoulders. Jac said to her I intend to blow everybody’s mind with the first scene. I think he accomplished that.

Reine Margot wrote:The film is priced at 29.90 for downloads, 29.99 plus shipping for DVDs. Not 40When I open the Vermeer Works link, the download price that is shown in Canadian dollars is $39.13. OK, so in my previous post, I rounded it off to $40, overstating the price by 87 cents (CAD). The exact price has now been clarified.

A Canadian

Well, if we are going to see it that way then JUSTINE goes for: Fr. 32.52 (Swiss Francs) 29,90 (Euros) 25.76 (pounds) or 26.04, depending on the exchange rate, RM123.70 (Malaysian) R$ 96,51 (Brazilian) Bs. 205,48 (Bolivian) 3,035.00 (Japanese Yen) C$ 39.64 (Canadian), (287,26 kr) (Sweden) And this is only what I see when we get the payments. Of course when you pay 3,035 for something… well, it sounds kind of high, but it’s actually 29.90 USD. really cheap for Japan and at Bs 205.48, too expensive for Bolivia, where you can get a pirated DVD for 3 bs. We don’t sell our DVDs in Bolivia. We show our films at theaters where people pay the high price of 30 bs, less than 5 US. There was a time, in the 80s, when Jac waited anxiously for his trips to Montreal, where on Tuesdays he could see a movie for 2.50 Canadian, which was ONE American Dollar. So, you can imagine that Jac did not leave the multiplex all day, maybe only to have lunch and dinner.

JUSTINE is out and a lot of people has now seen it and more people see it every day. We hope this trend will continue and perhaps JUSTINE will match Maleficarum’s rate of success. The question that is coming up frequently is What’s Next? We’ll be answering that after a big meeting of the minds sometime in the middle of this month. In the meantime all attention is on JUSTINE.

If you haven’t yet, perhaps now it the time for YOU to see JUSTINE and make up your mind about it.
