February Is Over

February is over. So very fast. There were a few days at the end of February where Jac was intensely involved in a very important project, a documentary, that he’ll go on to complete in June and July. So, for those 12 days he was shooting interviews, following some unraveling events, and so on and so forth. So, during those 12 days he did not do any editing on JUSTINE.

He’s going back to editing tonight. The good thing about this unexpected intermission is that he now has a nice distance from the project and he can see very well what needs to be cut, improved and changed. Distance is vital in editing. It does not affect the plans to have a final cut before the end of this month and ultimately, it didn’t affect the possible release date.

The results of the month are in. This is like our own little poll of preferences for our movies and they are not just based on the opinions of some fans, but they are the actual data of what our fans prefer to put their hard earned cash into. The data can be broken up in points, which are very, very clear of what people prefer and the distance in points between the choices. These are the TEN most bought/viewed of the 44 films we have so far. Four of them are not in the market yet, JUSTINE, Pygmalion, The Specter of Blood Castle and Nocturnia.

It would be interesting to know our rating at Amazon.com where thousands of films are sold. In any case, Maleficarum is, for now, our Best Seller of all time. The number two spot in our history is held by Red Feline on the Cross. However, there are 20 points difference between the two.
