The Universe Is Testing Us

Over the past few weeks, the organization faced significant difficulties that impacted both operations and financial stability. A major issue arose with the hosting service, which has a direct effect on our ability to maintain our online presence and support ongoing activities. This unexpected and totally inexcusable problem compounded the challenges experienced during this period.

In addition to the hosting complications, sales performance during this timeframe fell notably below our usual standards—markedly lower than anticipated. Such a decrease in sales resulted in diminished cash flow, which is critical for our day-to-day functioning. The reduced revenue affected multiple areas, including the maintenance of all websites, meeting payroll obligations, covering essential expenses, and ensuring the wellbeing of everyone dependent on how our films do in the world.

Taken together, these factors contributed to a particularly difficult month of February and a less-than-ideal start to March.

Despite the recent setbacks affecting operational stability we remain cautiously optimistic about the future. The hope is that, as these high intensity challenges are addressed and resolved, conditions will improve. This positive outlook is rooted in our capacity to adapt and persevere. With our dedicated efforts and strategic adjustments, we can anticipate that the coming months will bring improvements and renewed momentum.

There is particular optimism regarding the upcoming releases of many new films, which are expected to contribute to a recovery in sales and strengthen our company’s overall outlook. The anticipation surrounding these new projects, both, those in post production as well as those in development and production, serves as a source of motivation and encouragement during this challenging period. By focusing on forthcoming opportunities, our tireless team aspires to overcome recent setbacks and restore momentum in both operational and financial aspects.

Our Streaming Channel’s performance has not met our initial expectations. While the current situation is not disastrous, it is clear that growth has been slower than anticipated.

The channel is making progress, but at a sluggish pace. The growth could be likened to that of a lazy turtle: for every three slow steps forward, it seems to take two steps back. Repeating this pattern consistently over the past three months, resulting in minimal net progress.

It is important to note that this observation is not a complaint but rather an acknowledgment of the unique nature of our channel’s development. The slow and fluctuating growth appears to be characteristic of this particular endeavor. That’s the nature of this particular beast.

One of the new additions to our streaming channel is The Making of Justine, Part One. This short movie provides viewers with a unique perspective on the creation of Jac’s film, capturing both its most dramatic and funniest moments. Through behind-the-scenes footage, the film showcases Justine, portrayed by Amy, in a variety of situations that range from dramatic and humorous to visually striking. The audience is given a glimpse of the creative process and the dynamic atmosphere on set, highlighting Amy’s performance in both intense and entertaining scenes.

Our latest release, Pygmalion, currently holds the number one position in sales. However, despite its leading status, its sales figures are not as robust as would typically be expected for a newly launched title.

In second place is Justine, demonstrating solid performance among our offerings. Seditiosa occupies the third spot, with Maleficarum and Monza Mala following closely behind. This ranking highlights the competitive nature of our titles and the current sales dynamics within our catalog.

CruXtreme III, featuring Dani in an acclaimed performance, has demonstrated strong sales performance since its release, it follows the top sellers mentioned above.

Following closely behind in the rankings is The Passion of Isabel, which has maintained its popularity among viewers. In the next place is Agent X, showcasing consistent demand and audience interest.

Agent X appears farther down the list, yet still maintains a notable presence in the year’s sales figures. It is closely trailed by The Making of Monxa Mala film Dani Suffers The Wheel, which has resonated with a dedicated segment of the audience.

Rounding out the top ten is Amy’s first film Sirwiñakuy, securing the tenth position and highlighting the enduring appeal of earlier releases in the collection.

Together, these titles constitute the ten best sellers for the year to date, reflecting both the variety and competitive dynamics present in our current offerings.
