After shooting the seduction scene with Katerine, Jac wanted to do some testing for the crucifixion scene. He set up Katerine on the cross, and proceeded to whip her. Katerine told him, after a few lashes, that her threshold for pain was very high and that no matter what he did, she was not going to feel that much pain or react to it. “As a matter of fact, I’m not going to react in pain if it is not real” she warned. That began a session that grew in intensity as Jac took the challenge she posed and tried all the instruments at hand, short of using chains, to whip Katerine. She kept resisting, ending every lashing session with a pained smile. “I want to react to pain, not fake it” She insisted.
At one point Katerine asked Jac to tie a rope around her ribs, under her breast, and to make it extremely tight, as if he wanted to crush her ribs with it. From that moment on it got weirder. Everything is in camera, the entire session, including their discussions about it. Katerine is getting her masters degree in Forensic Psychology, that made that session very strange. As the beating went on, getting increasingly nasty, Katerine’s body began to show the real marks of the whip, welts, some black and blue and in some points very thin lines of skin about to break. At the end of the session Katerine began describing those marks in a very professional way: “This is the first stage where you see the welts, this here is the second stage where you see the skin turning first green, then it will become blue and finally black. This one here is the third stage just before the skin breaks and bleeds”

Hi, Margot, Thanks for your updates on the new film–it looks wonderful. I’ve tried repeatedly to support the film through your PayPal account but it insists on charging me $32 for shipping … and there is nothing to ship!
