What’s that sound? – Building The Sound Tracks
Ending the post production of a film can be exciting and frustrating at the same time. The end is so close and yet with every step taken, it appears that the end of the line is farther away. Jac was very busy building the soundtracks for the sound mix while, at the same time, trimming down the scenes.
This stage of the work is, for all practical purposes, DONE. The film is now going through the process of color correction, final mix and preparing the master for the DVDs and HD videos to be uploaded to our servers.
The film went down from 2 hrs 9 min, to 1 hr 39 minutes, it will probably go down a little more by the time Jac is done with the work this weekend. It took a bit longer that planned but it’s all for the best, the film is looking and sounding great.

In the other news, Dani is going to be working on a SOLO project, Crux Extrema, which actually might turn into three projects: Cruciati Ad Rotam, Crucio Torqueo and Crux Extrema.
Jac also had a nice conversation with Simone who, after telling him how much she loved to work on the film, she mention that she would be willing to work on a few SOLO projects as well. Jac’s brain is busy coming up with nasty concepts to work with the star of Maleficarum Monxa Mala
I can see a few films coming out with Dani, Simone and Mila. All of them this year.

I have purchased all 3 DVDs of the “Seven Days on the Cross” series, starring Gabrielle D’Cleda as Varinia. The quality of the 3rd film is poor with broad white bands rolling up on the screen, compromising enjoyment of a great crux performance. All other Red Feline DVDs play satisfactorily. I purchased these 3 DVDs (among many others) for delivery by registered post. Other Red Feline productions I purchased for download on line. All purchases were straightforward and satisfactory to me, as a client of RF film sales.

Seven Days On The Cross is a 4 disc series. All four are in our DVDs and DOWNLOAD stores. The problem you mention on the 3rd film might be a bad duplication of the DVD. I’ll check the master to see if the problem is there, which means we would need to re-master it.
For some years, I have followed “News from Margot” posts here and been waiting keenly for the promised release of the single DVD edition covering this entire torture and crucifixion story. This should overcome the display deficiencies in the 3rd purchased DVD. That single storyline DVD has finally been released (advertised at <http://redfeline.com/2016/12/21/seven-days-on-the-cross/>). This film is ONLY advertised at THAT link. NO other Red Feline link lists that particular film. Not even at the “Watch Our Films at Vimeo” link does this film appear for viewing. When I attempted to follow any link to purchase this film, I am directed to “Join the Club”. Even clicking the seemingly innocuous link “Read more at the Red Feline Club”.

I announced before that we were going to be releasing the film version of the Seven Days On The Cross series, which will include a final stage of the crucifixion which was never released. The film is ready but it hasn’t been mastered for release yet. There are some technical issues to be resolved and to be honest, our rate of productions and releases have been very high the last few years. It’s been very difficult to find the time to work on it. Seven Days On The Cross was produced in the times of analog video and the idea is to release it in high definition digital video. It takes a bit of work, but it will look very nice.
At that link (“log in to redfeline.com:80”), again I am asked to enter ‘User Name’ and Password (which would be sent unencrypted apparently). At the joining link http://vermeerworks.com/join-the-red-feline-club/, NONE of the “Subscribe” links work. Are Red Feline clients to understand that to purchase this Red Feline film (and other RF films?), one must now pay a subscription fee to access what should be readily available for purchase, as in any normal commercial transaction?

I will check the links you are referring to. I’m in the process of renewing our sites and I will check all of the pages to find old links that do not function any more and set the links that do. thank you for your comments. Both of our stores, DVDs and DOWNLOADS are freely accessible
