The Characters in Maleficarum Monxa Mala The Reshaping of Leticia

It was a tradition, in those days when so much power was in the hands of the Church, that families, particularly well to do families, would put at least one of their daughters in the hands of the clergy, including a big dowry, as if the daughter was getting married.

Leticia was given to Christ, property included. But Leticia was not happy with this most unfair arrangement that did not give her a choice in the matter. She decided not to control her rebellious spirit. She and a couple of her sisters in misery organized a pagan party in the grounds of the Monastery, with secret passwords, hidden entrances, wine from the Monastery vineyards, where the sisters labored. Their guests were well chosen young men who were contacted by Leticia’s servant. Word got out to their superiors and so it happened that Leticia, her friend Julia and Leticia’s servant Justa ended up in the dungeons of the Holy Office, as punishment for their most evil deed.

The beautiful woman in the picture is Simone. She plays Leticia in the story. She has the potential of becoming one of the regular stars in our productions. We’ll see how she feels after we’re done with this film. She will be featured in Casa de Fieras (Menagerie) and another feature film will be shooting in the next few months.

Margot nice to read the new message from you. Which actress has dropped off Maleficarum 2 and why she has done it?

Margot: very happy to hear you again! You said there is a lead actress dropped off, so may I asked you: Is Bea still in the film? The most exciting part I am looking forward is Bea get whipping to faint, then use water to wake her up, and use hot iron to brand her breast again and again until she faints again. Will you keep these scenes?

I’m not at liberty to reveal who dropped off the project, not yet. The reasons were personal and economic. A big offer from another production that she could not pass and her need for more cash in this moment in her life. Money talks. The scenes at the Post of Woes, are all in, so are The Wheel, The Traditional Rack, The Rack with Stocks, The Cross and so on. All the tortures are in.

Maleficarum Monxa Mala is in production and it will be for the entire month of November. The expected date of release is sometime in January, 2019.
