The Passion of Isabel continues with Isabel attached to the wheel by the nails through her hands and feet. She’s whipped some more. Isabel‘s enduring resistance to pain is rewarded, of course, with a crown of thorns.

Torquemada, so much into the Dominican’s view of the known universe, expresses his admiration for the naked crucified woman by equating her to the divine itself. The act of crowning the suffering ”crucificada” is just a preamble to the final touch to the torments the young woman must still endure.

Our Red Feline Club is growing with new posts and my epistolary discussion with Pícaro concerning the production of Maleficarum II – Monxa Mala. We will begin a campaign to raise funds for the new inquisition film very soon. We’re planning the production of a fund raising video with some of the participants we’re in the process of casting and the props we’re building. I will give free access to the club to all our fans here with the following:

More than a year later, someone made a very interesting comment:

It is obvious what you propose, suffering beyond existence, into the unreal torture one reads about in the old tales of Christianity. How wonderfully blasphemical. (…) If I would ever attempt proposing a theory of the sublime evil (fundament) of Occidental society, I would certainly refer to your work. Religion, pain, sexuality, and no happy ending.

Our wait lasted a few days. We were learning a new business and we just did not have anything set. So, one night, in early February, someone contacted us: I would love to buy your film. How do I pay? (…)

We are preparing to launch our crowd-funding campaign for Maleficarum II – Monxa Mala. A cash budget has been set for 50,000 US dollars. The highest mark we ever had, except for the classic docu-nightmare Krik Krak, which cost half a million dollars. We believe that with the amount we set, Jac will be able to make that film the way it has to be made. And as far as cash budgets for a movie, that’s nothing, really. People laugh when we tell them how much our movies cost.
