Well, a new month is beginning and a lot is happening right now.\u00a0Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0reigns supreme as the best seller of the past month, followed by\u00a0Mila \u00c0 La Croix<\/span><\/strong>. In third place is\u00a0JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0and still making waves out there.\u00a0The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is fourth and in the fifth place is our ALL TIME best seller\u00a0Maleficarum<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy sent Jac a new computer, which is four times faster than the one Jac has been working with, all of a sudden there’s more power in the post production studio, and it came just in time for Jac to edit\u00a0Crux<\/span> Extrema<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the new film with Dani, which is coming along very sexy and super gimpy hot, and to prepare the DCP for Amy’s film\u00a0Pygmalion<\/span><\/strong>, which will have a 5 city, 10 screens theatrical release on September 19th. The DCP is the system now used for theatrical screenings the world over. It replaced the old 35mm celluloid film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has anyone noticed that Amy Hesketh is making what looks like quite a big production Horror Movie about a murderous trucker? (Search for ‘Rucker the Trucker’ on facebook). I will be amazed if there is no GIMP-age, and am quite looking forward to seeing how it turns out…<\/span><\/em><\/p>High Horse<\/span><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Yes indeed, Amy is getting ready to shoot a new horror movie with a very interesting cast, which includes a very famous metal rock singer and another very famous stunt double who finally gets his chance to have a big lead role, not just being thrown out of running cars in place of some big star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rucker<\/span><\/strong>, the title of the movie, was written by Amy herself and it’s a very big budget production, bigger than anything we’ve done so far. Jac and Amy were having a nice chat about it a couple of days ago, when she told him about signing Corey to play a leading role. Jac was impressed, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this activity comes on the heels of recent public events which included the sudden renewed interest in\u00a0Outbreak<\/span><\/strong>, the film Jac produced for\u00a0NatGeo<\/strong>\u00a0way back in 2005. That production led to Jac meeting Amy and beginning an extremely rewarding association that produced over 20 films in 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new cycle begun in 2016, when Jac took over the production of another NatGeo<\/strong> production, still going, in the jungles of Bolivia while Amy began her academic career in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my humble and honest opinion, all those reviews and articles that appeared in trade magazines like\u00a0Fangoria<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Weng’s Chop<\/strong>, all those in-depth reviews written by Rich Moreland, C Dean Anderson and others, resonated in some places in the industry, thus, Amy and Jac are now engaging in some bigger productions. Amy with\u00a0Rucker<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0and Jac with\u00a0Casa De Fieras (Menagerie)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy is all the way up north and Jac all the way down south, but very much in tune with each other, working together, producing for each other, advising on artistic matters and so on. They are planning a film where Amy, Carmen and Veronica will get together for some good horror fun to be produced in the US in the summer of next year, if all goes according to plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
