The past week was full of activities, including one big day for Jac, on Sunday, where he was doing his civic duty on the polling place during the presidential elections. The current government, seeking, illegally, a fourth term, fraudulently declared itself the winner and now there are massive demonstrations against the despicable act that violates the will of the people. And Jac was in the middle of it all. No editing was done for\u00a0Crux Extrema I<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>but the production of\u00a0Crux Extrema II<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0went on before the week ended with some very hot scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday of this week, Dani and Jac were back at the set to test some very difficult scenes where Dani will have to go way over her limits. The scene combines the rack with a crucifixion. Those last scenes for\u00a0Crux Extrema II<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0will be shot in the next few days. Jac expects to have that film wrapped before the end of next week.\u00a0Crux Extrema III<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>will begin production shortly after that. The set will be transformed once more and, if all goes well,\u00a0Blanca and the Inquisitor<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0will be in the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the casting for\u00a0Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0was done, including some tests for the candidates to be in the new\u00a0Maleficarum<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0movie, Jac and his crew at that time, Bea and Dani, began to set the stage for the film. One of the items to be tested was\u00a0The Post Of Woes<\/strong>\u00a0and since Bea and Dani were also the principal cast, Jac decided to rehearse part of the scene as they went along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of such rehearsals was the scene where Bea would be put at the post for some nasty tortures. The recording of the magnus and sexy event is at the club right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a really fun video to watch, unedited, just the way it all happened. So, go ahead,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was happy to hear that there’s a beautiful comment about\u00a0Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>, by none other than horror, sci fy author,\u00a0C Dean Andersson<\/strong>\u00a0and which is circulating in places he comments about books and movies. For what is worth, here it is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MALEFICARUM 2 MONXA MALA is a Surrealist Revolutionary’s Dream of Heaven. Surrealist Artists such as filmmaker Luis Bunuel (L’AGE D’OR, UN CHIEN ANDALOU, TRISTANA) would surely have given MALEFICARUM 2 a standing ovation. And I have to believe that filmmaker Ken Russell (The Devils) would have applauded the unflinching portrayal of authentic Inquisition Era Tortures, both physical and psychological that, aided by the brave, above and beyond dedication of Amy Hesketh and Mila Joya, are shown straight up, with no “let your imagination fill in the blanks” cop-outs.

But MALEFICARUM 2 is not a sequel. Avila wisely avoided the traps of “sequelitis” that infects so many movies these days. MALEFICARUM 2 MONXA MALA is a poem of light, shadow, and beauty mixed with healthy doses of pain and pleasure. Watch it. Let it transport you to another world where the Surrealist Revolution has conquered, and your subconscious mind has been unchained, allowing the urges you have denied to break free and\u2026enjoy!<\/span><\/em><\/p>C Dean Andersson<\/span><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
