Before the production of Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/mark><\/strong> a lot of tests\/rehearsals were produced with the main actresses. Some of them suffered harsh treatment at The Rack<\/mark><\/strong>, The Wheel<\/mark><\/strong> and The Cross<\/mark><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tests were shot as if they were scenes of the movie, setting up the lighting, decorating the set and setting up the props as close as how they were going to be used in the film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of those tests were processed, almost completely as they were shot, including the conversations between the director, the actresses and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Dani Suffers The Wheel<\/mark><\/strong>, the role of punisher is taken by Bea, who is seen relishing the hard task of flogging Dani as she is stretched, naked, on the wheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we prepare more productions, and work in others, we’ll be releasing some of those rehearsal movies. One was release already, Dani Suffers The <\/mark><\/strong>Rack, and I have to say it has gotten some nice comments and it’s one of the current best sellers. It’s in second place after Seditiosa<\/mark><\/strong>, followed very close by Justine<\/mark><\/strong> and Maleficarum<\/mark><\/strong>, the all time best sellers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dani didn’t suffer this week, she had personal issues that did not permit her to engage in performing in torture scenes, in addition, her grandma’s hometown, in the rain forrest of La Paz, has it’s annual celebrations, two weekends, and this year it was dedicated to Dani’s grandma who passed away last year. Dani is part of the organizing committee and has to participate in all those activities. So, no crucifixions for Jac to do for over a week. He can handle that. I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Dani had a bit of time to meet with Jac and have a discussion about the near future. It was her view that September is not looking good, weather wise. A very cold first week. “I‘m freezing<\/mark><\/em>” she said as she savored her cake and drank her hot tea. The cats were around but not allowed to eat the chocolate cake for obvious reasons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion went into The Crucified Four<\/mark><\/strong> project. The main concerns in the discussion were, at that moment, the cast and the cash. The two big C<\/mark><\/strong>s. Everything else took second place, like the locations for the interiors, the schedule, and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dani had some ideas of some people that could be on the cast while Jac talked about the progress in the money front. Well, not so much as the progress, but rather the lack of resources in a slow moving plan, but the intention is to start the pre-production next week and if all goes well a first scene might be in production during the next weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also discussed what was going to be the next sequence in the movie they are shooting. Jac mentioned something about what he was planning, it had to do with an impaling of sorts after Dani was flogged a lot more and tortured while crucified. How?<\/mark><\/em> Dani asked. Show your plan to me… now<\/mark><\/em>, Jac complied and they went to the set where he showed her what he was planning to use. Let me try it<\/mark><\/em>, she said and she did. As she sat on the nasty looking edge of the devise, legs spread apart, arms raised above her head she told Jac “it hurts, a lot<\/mark><\/em>“. Jac nodded, smiled, and responded That’s the point<\/mark><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the meeting Dani and Jac walked down the stairs, Rocky the dog was put on a leash, they stepped out of the house and once in the street they kissed goodbye and went their separate ways. Dani left with a comment, you have until Wednesday to work on your own, I’ll see you Thursday<\/mark><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac is working the money angle now. He would love to start shooting the film this month but time is running, the first week of September is over and he can’t schedule anything yet. It is possible that next weekend part of the cast and crew will go to the location where the first sequence will be shot, do some tests, some dress rehearsals and plan the entire production. And that costs money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac needs to make a decision that he’s holding back because he wants to see how the plans for the resources are moving. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One way of getting some extra funds is to have a SALE<\/mark><\/strong>. 15% off if people buy two or more of our films, on top of that, he hopes that the release of the new film, Dani Suffers The Wheel<\/mark><\/strong>, will do well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He doesn’t think both of those efforts will bring a lot of money, but they might help cover some of the small expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac is almost ready to “publish<\/em>” the streaming channel. That’s how they, at Vimeo, describe the last step to open the channel for business. Jac has to decide one little detail before committing to this. It’s technical, but once it’s been decided that’s how it will stay. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those three efforts are now the most important for the next three days. In addition, the decision Jac has been putting aside is coming and is coming now. Once he takes that decision we will know how much we have to start the production of The Crucified Four<\/mark><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right now we’re working on scheduling the first sequence of the film and parts of the beginning of the other three. We know it will take one weekend to complete and that’s where we are now. It depends a lot on how much we will have in our purse by the end of next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
