She was on her cel communicating with someone. Jac instructed her to stand where he needed her to be. Simonne followed his instructions and as he began to bind her wrists leather shackels, they had this conversation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Did you start the campaign for The Crucified Four?<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">It began.<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">How is it going?<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Zero<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Can\u2019t believe it<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><em><strong>Jac<\/strong>:<\/em> <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">I\u2019m serious<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne:<\/strong> <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Now what?<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Now\u2026 I don\u2019t know<\/mark><\/em>. <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">We might not be able to make the film<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Ligia is so ready to begin<\/mark><\/em>. <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">She was ready to be crucified three times<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Well, she\u2019ll have to wait for some other opportunity<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">It can\u2019t be happening!<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Sure, but\u2026 ok &#8230; There\u2019s no interest in this \u2026 so..<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Oh no\u2026<\/mark> <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Not even for one of them?<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Not even 25 bucks<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">At least for one of them<\/mark><\/em><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">?<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac: <\/strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">We\u2019ll do something else. But that one looks like it\u2019s a no <\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">And this? <\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac: <\/strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">We\u2019ll complete this one<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne:<\/strong> <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Ah&#8230; ok<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Jac: <\/strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">What can you do? There\u2019s no interest, what can I say<\/mark><\/em><\/p><p><strong>Simonne<\/strong>: <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Maybe\u2026 I don\u2019t know<\/mark><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The camera captured this conversation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SimonneBadNewsClip\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1039480338?h=5d1d8abe3a&amp;dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Later on that same evening Ligia showed up to work on a promo for <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Crucified Four<\/mark><\/strong> and she received the bad news when she asked about the campaign. She was in shock. <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">&#8220;I&#8217;m so looking forward to this, my first role as a protagonist! I feel like crying!&#8221;<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They went on to shoot the promo, just in case. In the promo Ligia introduces her character, <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Taia<\/mark><\/strong>, the fugitive slave, and what happens to her and why. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TaiaTheSalveIntro01\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1039064519?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Later that night, after he was done working with Simonne and Ligia, Jac was having a beer, trying to concentrate on one of his favorite Series on Netflix, but he was rumminating inside his head, unabel to concentrate on what was happenings on the big screen, he was considering the future instead. Three of his cats were there to help him think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">Maybe the lack of interest in the new project is a message from the universe that maybe the times they are a-changing. And maybe I need a long vacation, maybe I should take a long trip to New York or Paris or both. And maybe a change in the work. Take up the documentary I am thinking about. And the series. And the film Erix wants to direct. Our tech created a button for contributions, but not the page we needed. Maybe that was the reason for the lack of interest in the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Crucified Four<\/mark><\/strong> project.
