A fan commented in a message about how long the post of\u00a0JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is taking. It was not a complaint. It was more like a sigh\u00a0“it’s taking so long<\/span>“<\/em>. OK, for the record, the post production of a movie can take up to a year, easily. It will depend on the complexity of the film itself and what has to be done to complete it. A film like\u00a0Sirwi\u00f1akuy<\/span><\/strong>, that was shot in 2008, it was finally released in 2010.\u00a0Martyr<\/span><\/strong>, that was shot in 2002, premiered in a film festival in 2005, but was officially released in 2011!\u00a0OLALLA’s<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0production was finished in May of 2014, it was released in January of 2015, that’s 8 months after the final day of shooting.\u00a0Maleficarum<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0was shot between November 2010 and January 2011. It was released on the 31st of October, 2011, 9 months after post began. Is\u00a0JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0taking too long? No, the final day of production was on December 16 of last year. Post production started in earnest after the holidays. That’s 7 months ago. Pretty normal. If we consider that the actual editing was done at the end of May, and that for almost two months Jac was not available to work on his film, well, that makes it even faster than normal. Thus,\u00a0JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is not taking too long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac and Amy want the film to look, sound, feel more than good! There’s no point on rushing something that has so much promise. Jac is going over the sound, to make sure it’s all great. Amy is working on the subtitles, mostly German and for the hearing impaired, since the entire movie is in ENGLISH! Yes, Amy, Bea, Mila, Jac and the rest speak in English in this movie. As soon as Jac gives the ok for the sound, the assets for the DVD and download versions of the film will be prepared for Uploading\/duplicating and the store will be ready to offer the new film to the world. That is happening now! I can speculate that the film will be released sometime before the end of this month. But I rather not. I rather wait for Jac and Amy to tell me the actual date of release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
