\u200bThe Post Production of The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong> continues with two more sequences about to be completed this week which leaves the three more intense sequences still to be edited. The editing is going fairly quickly. I expect to have a tentative release date by the end of this month. That’s in a week. The film is over 90 minutes long at the end of the Slanted Rack<\/strong> sequence. I can estimate that by the end of the first cut, when all of the sequences are nicely set up, the film will surely be way over 2 hours long. The struggle to cut it down to a healthy 90 to 100 minutes of screen time will begin. That painful process will not take too long. I think it will be obvious. There’s also the intention of editing a Making Of Reel<\/strong> with the funny and romantic bits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u200bJUSTINE<\/span><\/strong> is going to start its second week on the big screen tomorrow, Thursday. It opened last Thursday, I have word that it might be going on for a third week. Jac was not expecting more than one week. As a matter of fact, I think he preferred it that way. A very short run, long enough to attract the hard core audience here. But it will be going on for longer than that, as unexpected as that is. However Jac feels that the best outcome of its presentation to the general public already happened. The first day of JUSTINE<\/strong>‘s<\/span> theatrical screening attracted the attention of a young lady who went to see it, fell in love with it and decided to contact Jac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Margot said: <\/span><\/strong>On Friday Jac got a message from a young lady, Danielle, who told him: Congratulations for Justine! You are the best! It would be an honor to work with you! Jac responded with let’s meet for beers Saturday! During their meeting over cold beers Jac described Maleficarum II and what the characters would go through. Danielle loved the idea and she said she was willing to be part of it, full nudity and torture and all of that. The meeting lasted three hours, so they talked a lot. After the meeting Danielle invited Jac to her place for more drinks and more talk, at one point she said Working with you will be a high point for me … level God! I think Jac found one of three leading actresses for Maleficarum II. They’ll begin tests this week.<\/span><\/em>
\u200bWow, that’s interesting. I can’t wait to get a look at her. I have sometimes wondered why there aren’t more masochistic females offering their bodies to Jac for whipping and torture in a movie. Perhaps his location in a far-off corner of the world discourages some of them.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\u200bD. Santorum<\/strong><\/span><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u200bI wonder about that too. \ud83d\ude09 \ud83d\ude09 . I think what is very telling is that he found MOST of the actresses in Bolivia. Regardless of their nationality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac met Carmen\/Camille in Bolivia, she’s from France, so is her sister Vero. They had arrived a couple of months before we did, we were living in NY back then. We met Carmen at a mass, of all places. He met Amy in Bolivia. She’s from the US, Maine, to be exact, she was passing through on her way to Chile, and Jac was visiting Bolivia from NY for a festival and began working on the NatGeo project. Mila is from Bolivia and she was hired as a receptionist where Amy was having back therapy. Bea just walked in our studio one day saying she would love to work with Jac, she saw Maleficarum<\/span><\/strong> and Sirwi\u00f1akuy<\/span><\/strong> and had to work with Jac. Danielle was living in Spain until two months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are they masochists in search for a fitting life style? I can’t talk for them but I know for a fact that Carmen isn’t a masochist, I have my doubts about Vero and Amy, Mila isn’t, Bea likes to play rough, but she claims that she’ll be the first to get Jac under the whip. Amy, Mila and Bea were hoping to get Jac up on the wheel for some torture after he was done with them in JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>, he did not oblige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Danielle works out, we’ll be getting closer to the pre production of Maleficarum II.<\/span><\/strong>\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In more senses than one! Isabel’s Wheel is so arousing, so simple yet perfect for a girl to be tortured on! \u200b<\/span><\/em><\/p>Eulalia<\/span><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The under appreciated wheel. It’s causing a lot of discomfort at the theatrical screening of JUSTINE<\/span>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A common thought while it goes on is \u201dplease make it stop!<\/span><\/em>” and it’s not the characters in the movie who are thinking that. I’m pretty sure is the audience. Do I know that for a fact? Yes. I little survey I made amongst those people that were at the premiere indicated to me that the famous wheel was what made them cringe in their seats and beg to the heavens for it to be over. It gets a more sinister use in The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>. The poor woman is tortured on it and then nails are driven into her hands and feet to further secure her to the awful contraption, to be tortured even more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
