Once again\u00a0<strong>Isabel<\/strong>\u00a0suffers the whip on her beaten flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em><span class=\"has-inline-color has-light-green-cyan-color\">(&#8230;) The Roman Numeral X: Agent X remains my favorite Red Feline film. And, for the cost of making any of these last 4-5 films, such as Isabel or Dead But Dreaming, Red Feline could have made 10 more like Agent X to all viewers\u2019 far greater satisfaction. No need for large sets or expensive costumes, just for an actress like Amy who can sell the scene.<\/span><\/em><\/p><cite><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Eda<\/span><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0was made for very little money, with only two people as cast and crew, Bea and Jac, exactly like\u00a0<span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>Agent X<\/strong>,<\/span> which had Amy and Jac as cast and crew. Either film took 6 to 8 weeks of production time, regardless of their complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1607\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00522522.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>Agent X<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>was made when Amy and Jac in their house after painting all the walls black. They could go on for many hours every evening, 7 days a week if they wanted because they could. In the case of\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>, Jac used the same location that was used in\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>. Bea and Jac worked 4 to 5 hours a day, four to five days a week.\u00a0<strong>Isabel<\/strong>\u00a0was complex because of all the props to set up and all the make up for Bea, who has tattoos, in addition the shoot was interrupted when Jac had to go see his father who passed away then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1608\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/redfeline.com\/chronicles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00530210.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The reception to\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is good, so the profit margin is huge, I would say that at this point is something like 10 to 1. In the case of\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Dead But Dreaming<\/span><\/strong>, high budget movies, the profit margin is around 3 to 1. But the actual amounts that come in to get to that margin are substantial in comparison. The audience for big budget productions is a lot larger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sure, if Jac made more films like\u00a0<span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\"><strong>Agent X<\/strong>,<\/span> he would make a killing in terms of profit. But the work is very hard and it&#8217;s not easy to convince an actress to be tortured over and over and over in the same kind of film, regardless of how much she would get paid. Camille had a limit, so did Amy and apparently Bea has a limit too. We&#8217;ll see how Danielle does after her first experience under torture. Before Jac starts\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Cage<\/span><\/strong>, a very low budget movie by our standards, he&#8217;s going to be training Danielle and maybe a spy movie will come out of it right after\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Cage<\/span><\/strong>. Danielle had some interesting suggestions for electric torture\u00a0<em><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\">you could throw freezing water at me before the electrocution<\/span><\/em>\u00a0she said with a big smile. She was tied up, spread eagle, testing the new set. No pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now the drum roll please&#8230;. the moment Ralphus was eagerly waiting for &#8230; Number TEN is&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10.- <span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">OLALLA<\/span>! &#8211; 61 points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img src=\"http:\/\/redfeline.com\/promos\/Olalla\/OlallaVidCaps01073205.jpg\" alt=\"OlallaVidCaps01073205.jpg\" title=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">OLALLA<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0made it to the ten best sellers list this month. It wasn&#8217;t always the case. Amy&#8217;s fourth film as a director has been invited to festivals and it had a wide theatrical release. The critics overall loved the film, one critic had this to say in a full page newspaper review:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-pink-color\"><em>The film is a homage to the eternal and sinister Dracula of Bram Stoker, and all manner of gothic creation. It may be a more melancholic vision but it preserves the dark prince\u2019s leift motif. It was after\u00a0<strong>FERATUM<\/strong>\u00a0that Amy moved back to the US for another stage in her life and career. It was a big production budget movie,\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Martyr<\/span><\/strong>, screened at a the\u00a0<strong>Diablo de Oro\u00a0Film Festival<\/strong>, that made Amy turn her life around and join Jac. It was a the very big production movie,\u00a0<strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-amber-color\">Krik?
