The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong> continues with Isabel<\/strong> at The Wheel<\/strong>. This is the scene where Bea begins to show her true endurance under torture. The Wheel<\/strong> scene took over a week to shoot. At one point she felt like fainting for real. Not an easy task for an actress whose body is already under a lot of stress having suffered the whip, the rack and all sorts of terrible tortures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our esteemed critic, who will be publishing a new review of The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong> in a mainstream LA magazine comments in his email to Jac that: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bea is more philosophical in Isabel. She exhibits more of her character’s personality (maybe because of dialogue) to get the viewer into her head. In fact she is defiant in the beginning and stoic at the end, quite a transition.<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Bea totally carries The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong> on her suffering body with beauty and class … not to mention great suffering expressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime Jac will be celebrated as: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

the greatest personality in Bolivian horror cinema (…) with over 32 productions in his filmography (…) an impressive trajectory (…).<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And so on. He’ll receive an award for his lengthy and impressive career on Nov 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
