A day after Jac, Bea and Dani worked on\u00a0The Post of Woes<\/strong>\u00a0with Bea, they went back in the provisional set to work with Dani on\u00a0The Wheel<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0The Cross<\/strong>. There has been a lot of discussions concerning\u00a0The Post of Woes<\/strong>, where the lead character in the movie,\u00a0Odilia<\/strong>, played by Bea, will suffer an intense series of tortures. As I said before, it is that one\u00a0Iconic Scene<\/strong>\u00a0of the future that started the ball rolling for\u00a0Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>. But what else is in store for our damsels in painful distress?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Post of Woes<\/strong> is practically fully funded, by none other that our first big supporter P\u00edcaro. The film will have that scene no matter what. The Wheel<\/strong>, in the other hand, has Jac as its main instigator because of two things, because he has a wheel to work with and because he has the actress that fits the wheel very well, Dani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our previous big supporters and recent contributor to the cause D. Santorum, said at one point that\u00a0The Wheel<\/strong> was made for Dani. It seems to me that Jac agrees with him. D Santorum had an idea for\u00a0The Passion of Isabel<\/span><\/strong>. He envisioned Isabel, Bea, on top of the rim of\u00a0The Wheel<\/strong>\u00a0used in that movie. Unfortunately, The Wheel, as it was, it was too big and there was no clearing between the top of the rim and the high ceiling in the set. So it was scratched off. But, by cutting The Wheel in half it became possible for someone to be tortured on the top of the rim. The question now is How? What Kind Of Tortures?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Movie On The Verge<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are practically ready to start shooting, but not totally ready. We have a few things missing, most importantly, the funds. We didn\u2019t start a public campaign yet and there\u2019s a reason for that. Jac wanted to make sure that everything is in place and that\u2019s where all our team\u2019s efforts have been going, to get everything in place. I think we\u2019re ready to start the campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very important to have a committed cast, one we can count on for the duration and I mean the\u00a0Seven Magnificent<\/strong>, who are going to go through a lot of indignities. It was easier for us to raise cash in the recent past. To raise funds for\u00a0Olalla<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0JUSTINE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0we had a committed cast. We knew we could count on Amy, Mila and Bea to deliver. This time we had to start from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of my discussions with P\u00edcaro there wasn\u2019t a cast, just the possible involvement of Bea and she wasn\u2019t sure. She\u2019s fully committed now. We now have a cast, a solid cast. All the tests Jac did with them showed their level of commitment and their willingness to put themselves through a lot of pain and discomfort. They were all tortured in different ways and they all passed the test. They are truly committed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s nice and timely that you ask. We will have other films on\u00a0Vimeo<\/strong>\u00a0soon, but most importantly, we’ll have a lot of material from the new film, the casting, the demos, the tests, the making of, interviews with the actresses and a lot more in, our supporters club. We will also have streaming of most of our movies, the new ones and the old ones. For instance, we will have special films like\u00a0Torture Scenes Martyr or The Death of St Eulalia<\/span><\/strong>, or the making of\u00a0Red Feline on The Cross<\/span><\/strong>, or the entire series of\u00a0The Via Crucis of Camille<\/span><\/strong>. We are working full time on the preproduction of\u00a0Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, testing all the instruments of torture we will use, building others, putting our cast of amazingly beautiful women through a lot of pain and distress and they are doing an excellent job.
