Another update about Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>\u200b
We\u2019re getting ready to say good bye to the old and hello to the new. We\u2019re in between holidays and everything came to a sudden stop, as far as the production goes. Jac intended to do some shooting this passing week, but it did not work out as planned, too many things got in the way, including some emergency work for funds, dealing with some minor health issues, some cast members going away, and more, a lot more.
To complete what\u2019s left of the film, Jac scheduled three days next week\/year, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. In those three days all of the scenes that are pending will be shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jac is spending a good amount of time in editing Maleficarum Monxa Mala<\/span><\/strong>. He concentrated on a critical sequence of the movie to make sure that he has everything that he needs. It\u2019s a complex, multilayered sequence, critical in the story because that\u2019s when things turn from simple punishments to cruel torture. It\u2019s a transition sequence and it has lots of shots, lots, too many events happening at once, like a three ring circus, really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that the First Cut of the film is already at the 30 minutes mark. Which is very good. It means that the editing will advance rather nicely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u200bThat\u2019s basically where we are now. As everyone is aware, having two huge holidays in such a short time from one another, and such family and big party oriented holidays, including banks and companies going nuts and not working normally, made this past week a bit of a complicated time for all of us, but most particularly for Jac. We are getting through it and we will get on with the work as it should be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, in the meantime, Happy New Year from all of us!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
